Résumé The Order sets specific Exclusive Economic Zone delimitations in relation to Greenland, Iceland, Canada and Norway. For Greenland, the EEZ is limited by the sea area beyond and adjacent to the territorial sea up to a distance of 200 nautical miles from the baselines. Indication of baselines are in adherence to baselines Decree No. 1004 of 15 October 2004. For Canada, EEZ in relation to Canada is limited by 75 degrees north latitude running where its coasts lie opposite to Greenland, at a distance of less than 400 nautical miles, following a series of specific geodesic coordinate lines (article 2). EEZ in relation to Iceland's coastline lies opposite Greenland at a distance of less than 400 nautical miles, after specific geodetic coordinate line boundaries (article 3). Delimitation of EEZ in relation to Norway where the archipelago of Svalbard lies opposite Greenland at a distance of less than 400 nautical miles, shall be - in the absence of special agreement be equidistant from the nearest points on the baselines at the coast (central line). In the area between Greenland and Jan Mayen fixed boundary line, straight geodetic coordinate lines between specific points are listed (article 4, section 2).
