This Norm enters into force on the day of its publication.
Résumé

This Order recognizes as endangered species of Brazilian flora those contained in the "Official National List of Endangered Plant Species", according to the Annex to this Order, which includes the degree of extinction risk of each species, in compliance with arts. 6 and 7 of Order No. 43 of 31 January 2014. The species on the List classified in the categories Extinct in Nature (EW), Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN) and Vulnerable (VU) are protected from integral way, including the prohibition of collection, cutting, transport, storage, handling, processing and commercialization, among others. The restrictions established do not apply to specimens grown in plantations duly licensed by a competent environmental agency as well as to non-timber forest products, such as seeds, leaves and fruits, as long as they are adopted: I - techniques that do not jeopardize the survival of the individual and the conservation of the species; II - recommendations of the National Action Plans for the Conservation of Endangered Species - PAN, when existing; and III- restrictions and recommendations provided for in specific standards, including international acts.
