Résumé This Order creates the National Programme for the Conservation of Species Endangered by Extinction (Pró-Espécies), with the objective of providing prevention, conservation, management and management measures, with a view to minimizing the risks of extinction of animal species. The Pró-Espécies Programme will be coordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, through the Secretariat of Biodiversity and Forests, and will have as priorities the following actions: I - support the Chico Mendes Institute of Biodiversity Conservation and the Research Institute Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro, institutionally and technically; II - review and approve to the National Commission of Biodiversity-CONABIO as Official National Lists of Endangered Species; III - coordinate the preparation of two PANs for the Conservation of Endangered Species, ensuring inter-institutional articulation and synergy; IV - promote the implementation of the actions planned in the PAN; V - promote studies and strategies aimed at recovering the state of conservation of constant species on the list of endangered species; VI - promote studies on Almost Endangered species (NT) or with Insufficient Data (DD); VII - adopt the necessary procedures for the use of data and information from the Pró-Espécies programme; VIII - promote inter-institutional and international cooperation, with a view to implement management actions for species threatened with extinction; IX - promote conservation and sustainable use of Brazilian biodiversity species in all phases of fundamental school education; etc. Texte intégral Portugais Site web www.gov.br
