Résumé This Order, consisting of 33 articles divided into seven Chapters, establishes rules and procedures for carrying out sport fishing in Federal Conservation Units for Sustainable Use managed by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio). This Order may also contemplate the performance of sport fishing in protected areas of full protection when the activity occurs in traditional population territory, in an area regulated by Term of Commitment. Sport fishing contemplates only fishing for fish, not involving other fishing resources. The visit to carry out the sport fishing activity can only be carried out if it is compatible with the Management Plan or other planning instruments of the protected area, and, when in protected areas of full protection, with the provision or adequacy of Terms Commitment to traditional populations. The exercise and management of sport fishing activities must observe the following principles: I - rational and sustainable use of natural resources; II - priority of the traditional communities that reside or use the fishing resources in the Conservation Unit for the management of the sport fishing activity; III - implementation of monitoring programmes; IV - monitoring of official bodies; and V - protection of species threatened with extinction.
