Résumé The present Regulations are made under section 52of the Oil and Gas Operations Act. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to geophysical operations concerning exploration for oil and gas in any area to which the above-mentioned Act applies. The text consists of 42 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: General (1); Offshore geophysical operations (2); Onshore geophysical operations (3); Occupational safety and health (4); Reporting requirements (5); Accidents (6). Three Schedules are enclosed as follows: Minimum distance between a charge and any oil or gas well or the centre line of any oil or gas pipeline (A); Minimum distance in respect of magazines (B); Minimum distance between charge and commercial electromagnetic transmitters (C).
