Fermented milk is prescribed as food to have qualities or standards (Clause 2). Clause 4 provides for the categories of fermented milk. The qualities or standards of fermented milk are stipulated in Clause 4 - 6. The Notification further provides for the requirements to be satisfied for the usage of food additives, processing and importation, packaging and labels and quality standards of fermented milk.
