Résumé

This By-law establishes the measures to be taken to prevent the spreading of exotic animal diseases, ensure an early detection, immediate eradication, and the control of the permanent threat of animal diseases. To this end the competent authorities are entitled to enter and inspect animals and premises where animals are kept, or vehicles used for the transportation of animals, to apply identification marks to animals and animal products, to give instructions concerning hygiene and sanitary procedures to the managers of the establishments where animal products or feed are handled, stored, transported or marketed. Specific measures shall be applied for the control of "notifiable diseases" and "officially controlled diseases" listed in article 6.
