This Norm enters into force on the day of its publication.
Résumé

This Norm, consisting of 8 articles, establishes the official models of Certificate of Origin for the transit of edible animal products destined exclusively for the production of gelatine as well as non-edible products originating from establishments registered in the Division for Inspection of Animal Origin Products (DIPOA). The Sanitary Information Control Division (DCIS) of the Agricultural Protection Department (DDA) is authorized to require the issuance of Certificate of Origin for the circulation, throughout the territory of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. For the issuing of the above mentioned certificate of origin, specific requirements must be observed, such as: the Certificate of Origin may only be signed by a State Agricultural and Livestock Prosecutor responsible for the sanitary inspection of the registered establishment; the products must be accompanied by the corresponding Invoice; transit of the products does not eliminate the eventuality of a sanitary re-inspection; hides and skins of swine, as raw materials for the production of edible gelatine, must be sent directly to the edible gelatine industry and must be refrigerated, properly packed and labeled with approved labeling; etc.
