Résumé This Norm, consisting of 18 articles and one Annex, establishes the technical and administrative procedures for licensing the import of pesticides, technical products and related. It specifies that the importation of pesticides, technical and related products exempts from prior import authorization before shipment, but is subject to the consent of the International Agricultural Surveillance Unit - VIGIAGRO and the Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Supply (MAPA) at the time of clearance, with the analysis and documentary inspection of products and granting of the Import License - (LI) in SISCOMEX. Authorizion to import pesticides, technical products and similars, may only be requested by companies holding the product registration or their affiliates and, in the case of third parties, only if authorized by means of an act published by MAPA in the Official Gazette (DOU). The Annex establishes the Minimum Information for labelling of Technical and Formulated Products for Realising in Industrial Environment.
