Sujet Bétail Mot clé Santé des animaux Parasites/maladies Volaille Désinfection Abattage Inspection Aire géographique Alpes, Europe, Europe et Asie Centrale, Pays de l'Union Européenne, Europe du Ouest Résumé The present Ordinance by the Federal Minister for Health and Consumer Protection contains at the outset a clause indicating its scope of application, as well as a definition clause relating to the various terms therein employed, such as "Newcastle disease", "diseased poultry", etc. Once the disease is ascertained in a certain place, all poultry is to be destroyed under official supervision. The plants have to be disinfected and cleaned according to EC regulations. Around an infected area a radius of 10 km has to be declared as protected zone.
