Résumé The purposes of the Act are: a) to provide for the effective development of New Brunswick's grain industry; b) to promote, control and regulate the production and marketing of grain; c) to add order and stability to the grain industry of the Province; and d) to establish and maintain standards of quality for grain and to regulate grain handling in the Province to ensure a dependable commodity for markets. For pursuing such purposes, the Act establishes the New Brunswick Grain Commission and regulates its operation. The Commission is responsible to the Minister for the administration of this Act. Furthermore, the Act also regulates inspections in places where grain is being produced or marketed, licences and also enforcement. The Act consists of 19 sections.
