The purposes of the Trust shall be, among other things: (a) to accept and hold property in trust for any public purposes; (b) to promote for the benefit of the people of Zimbabwe the permanent preservation and protection of: (i) lands and buildings of a national, archaeological, historical or aesthetic interest; and (ii) natural resources, animal or bird life and trees or flora; (c) to manage property for purposes of public recreation, entertainment, resort or instruction. The Trust shall be managed by a Council, which may make Bylaws for purposes of protection and conservation of property owned, held or controlled by the Trust.
