Résumé

This Act inserts the words "and protected areas" after the words "national parks" wherever they occur and moreover inserts the words "biological diversity," after the words "beauty" where it first occurs in Section 11. This Act amends the Subsection (1) of Section 8 regarding the structure of the National Parks Board, the Subsection (1) of Section 10 regarding national park plans, the Subsection (2) of Section 23 regarding offences and penalties, the Subsection (1) of Section 24 regarding authorized officer, the Subsection (2), (3) and (4) of Section 25 regarding powers of the authorized officer, and Section 40 regarding regulations for the preservation, management and development of national parks. Furthermore this Act adds Section 9A regarding delegation, Paragraph (ea) to Section 9 regarding powers and functions of the Board, Section 30A regarding proceedings with respect to things seized, Section 35 regarding the National Parks and Protected Areas Trust Fund, and Section 39A regarding exemption from the Value Added Tax Act 2006.
