They prohibit the production, import, export, use or placing on the market of any ozone-depleting substances and equipment or products that contain such substances. The Regulations provide for the recovery of ozone-depleting substances, prohibit the stockpiling of ozone depleting substances listing in Schedule 1 to these Regulations and provide for the reporting. A person who has a stockpile of listed ozone-depleting substance must submit an abatement plan as defined to the Director-General.
