To compile the current internationally–recognized guidelines to be used worldwide for disaster risk management in Thai context and be used in the development of relevant plans at different levels of government. To enable local authorities to more efficiently and effectively deal with disasters. To develop and enhance capacities for disaster risk management which encompasses risk reduction, early warning system in emergency management and building back better at all levels.
