Any dairyman or milk seller shall apply for registration before starting any production or business and the document attesting its registration shall be affixed in the premises. Any animal or human disease possibly affecting the milk production shall be immediately reported to the competent authorities and, if spread of the same infectious disease is found to be related to milk supplied or sold , production and distribution shall be interrupted and the whereabouts of all consumers given in order to assess if they could have been harmed by the milk itself. Milk shall be handled and stored in safe conditions and violators of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined up to two hundred rupees.
