Résumé

State nature monuments shall be considered unique and precious from ecological, scientific, geological, historic and cultural, aesthetic point of view natural objects such as natural boundaries, geological exposure, plots of mineral deposits, waterfalls, caves, mineral water springs, rocks, some rare and historically precious trees, artificial nature monuments (alleys, parks, ponds) that do not make part of natural and historic complexes. The scope of proclamation of state nature monuments shall be conservation in natural state thereof for scientific research, cultural and aesthetic purposes. State nature monuments shall be proclaimed without expropriation of land plots (waterbodies) from land tenants (water users). Each nature monument shall be issued certificate containing the following data: (a) name, purposeful use, modalities of maintenance, conservation and protection; (b) location and land area; (c) description and photos; and (d) name of supervising enterprise, institution or organization. Any activity that could damage state nature monument can be restricted or prohibited on the territory where state nature monument is located.
