The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Résumé

Aim of the present Decree is the protection, preservation and management of the natural environment and landscape in the forestal compound of Dadia-Lefkimmi-Soyfli, which is distinguished for its significant biologic, ecologic, aesthetic, geomorphologic and scientific value, thus, this area is hereby designated as a National Park. More specifically, the provisions of the Decree aim at the protection and preservation of the natural characteristics of protected types of ecosystems and protected species of flora and fauna that are found in this specific region and particularly at safeguarding the area as the dwelling of predatory birds. Also, it aims at developing activities which are compatible with the environmental protection and at safeguarding traditional uses of natural resources and viable ecotourism, environmental education and recreation of the public. Moreover, the Decree prescribes measures in conformity with the European Ecological Network, Natura 2000. The Decree prescribes use, regulations and building restrictions within the park area. For the operation and management a corresponding Management Body shall be established within one year of the issuance of the present Decree. The park is divided in two areas of protection (A and B). The outer limits of the park and the exact delimitation of each protection zone are outlined in Annex I, while their geographic coordinates are laid down in Annex II. Both Annexes are attached to this Decree.
