Résumé

The Ministerial Decree aims at the eradication of the African swine pest in the Sardinia Region and the prevention from its spreading on the national territory. Consigments of live swine animals and swine fresh meat originating in Sardinia are prohibited by this Decree. Nevertheless, consigments of swine fresh meat are permitted when swines have been slaughtered in establishments which are exclusively devoted to swine slaughtering and have been granted the sanitary authorization by the Ministry of Health, as referred to in article 2, paragraph 2. The consignments shall be accompanied in such case by the certificate provided for in article 3. Consignments of swine-based products are not allowed, in accordance with article 4. Nonetheless article 4, paragraph 2 lists out the products that are exempted from this prohibition under certain conditions. The Ministry of Health shall submit to the Member States and to the European Commission all the lists concerning authorized establishments. Article 11 establishes the National Committee for Coordination and Surveillance. Two Annexes are attached.
