The main tasks of the State Sanitary Inspection shall be: a)organization of the state sanitary and epidemiological rating of factors of biosphere, state hygienic registration and regulation of chemical and biological substances and goods made from them and also products of industrial and technical purposes, commodities for personal (everyday) needs, food products; b) carrying out social and hygienic monitoring of environment and state of health of the population.
