Ministerial Decree No. 613 validating the Regulation on the leasing and asset management of waterworks.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of concessions on lease or on condition of asset management of waterworks pertaining to state property without subsequent redemption thereof. Waterworks may be conceded on lease or on condition of asset management for a period of five to 49 years by agreement with the authorized state water management institution. A mandatory condition for the concession of waterworks on lease or on condition of asset management shall be the purposeful use thereof, including supplying water to certain categories of water users at subsidized rates and maintaining technological processes. Waterworks shall be conceded through tenders.
