Ministerial Decree No. 457 validating the Regulation on Hunting Department.

This Ministerial Decree establishes legal and organizational grounds for the functioning of Hunting Department, its plenary powers, tasks and functions. Hunting Department shall carry out the following tasks: (a) realization of state policy in the sphere of conservation, reproduction and rational management of hunting resources and natural habitats thereof, extension of protected areas; (b) coordination and regulation of hunting and hunting management; and (c) information on the state of hunting resources. Hunting Department shall carry out the following functions: (a) registration of the number of species subject to hunting; (b) organization of captive breeding of species subject to hunting; (c) monitoring of species subject to hunting; (d) suppression of poaching and hunting offences; (e) issuance of hunting authorization and permits.
