Objects of technical regulation shall be: (a) safety of alimentary iodinated salt for consumers; and (b) processing, handling, transportation, storage and trade of iodinated salt. Traceability and identification of iodinated salt shall be performed for consumer protection against fraud and establishment of product compliance.
