The vine varieties are classified according to the categories “recommended”, “allowed” and “provisionally allowed” as well as according to their use, such as “table wine” and “wine for special use”, etc. This classification is listed in Annex I attached to this Decree. The list of vine varieties for the purpose of wine production and the transcription of the Greek names in Latin characters are included in Annex II to this Decree.
