Entry into force notes

This Decree enters into force upon signature.

Résumé

This Decree aims at a) protecting habitats and recreational resources, b) creating conditions for tourism and recreation, c) developing and implementing efficient methods for environmental protection, d) preserving ecological balance for recreation and e) actualising environmental monitoring. In natural parks, operation zones are determined as protected areas, tourism and recreational areas, historical and cultural areas, areas for recreation facilities and activity areas. Prohibitions in natural parks are listed in this Decree as (i) any action harms the nature, tourism, recreation and the quality of historical-cultural monuments, (ii) conducting geological exploration and excavation work, (iii) constructions of building, facilities, roads, pipelines and electric lines, (iv) use of plants for economic purposes, as well as to be used as hayfields and pastures, (v) hunting of wild fauna species for economic purposes, (vi) sport activities, camping, erection of tents and lighting bonfires out of permitted areas, and (vii) parking and movement of vehicles out of permitted roads and places. This Decree sets forth provisions on creation, features of special protection regime, economic activities and state control over protection and use of natural parks.
