Ministerial Decree No. 172 validating the Regulation on use of thermal energy.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of utilization of thermal energy and interrelations of thermal energy supplying organizations with the consumers. Utilization of thermal energy shall be performed in accordance with contracts between supplying organization and the consumers. Consumption of thermal energy shall be registered by metering devices. The authorized state institution on control and supervision over generation, transportation, distribution and consumption of thermal energy shall issue authorization for putting to operation of thermal energy consuming installations and thermal energy distribution networks. Thermal energy supplying organization shall ensure supply to the consumer and shall maintain thermofore standards in accordance with contract.
