Hunting areas shall be classified as: (a) hunting areas assigned to hunting associations; (b) reserve hunting areas; (c) hunting areas within protected areas requiring special hunting authorization. Hunting shall be carried out in the hunting areas assigned to hunting associations if not otherwise envisaged by law. Hunting with the use of hunting gear (except for firearms), hunting dogs and birds shall be granted to the physical persons residing on the national territory from the age of 14 years in the presence of hunter certificate while hunting with the use of firearms shall be granted to the physical persons residing on the national territory from the age of 18 years in the presence of armorial bearing licence. Hunting shall be carried out in accordance with hunting authorization. Hunting of wolves and jackals shall not require authorization in the following cases: (a) protection of wildlife by gamekeepers; (b) danger to human life and health and damage to agricultural animals; and (d) in the presence of hunting authorization for other wildlife species. The Ministerial Decree validates the list of game and hunting seasons.
