Résumé This Decree sets forth provisions on issuance of radiation-hygienic passport to landowners, enterprises and organizations using ionizing radiation sources. This Decree aims at ensuring radiation safety for the living conditions of the population. The passport shall be issued by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the hygienic-epidemiological control service of the Ministry of Health. The passport includes (i) radiation safety assessment, (ii) information on risk groups in the area affected by high levels of ionizing radiation, (iii) estimation of radiation level in lands and enterprises and organizations using ionizing radiation sources, (iv) requirements on radiation safety planning, and (v) evaluation of the effectiveness of measures implemented to ensure radiation safety. In addition, other information shall be registered to evaluate radiation safety standards, analyse radiation doses exposed the population and level of radiation contamination.
