Ministerial Decree No. 126884 establishing the procedure for environmental licencing and content of environmental studies on the installations of antennas stations on land, according to article 31, paragraph of 18 law No. 3431/2006.

The Decree aims at implementing article 31, paragraph 18, of Law No. 3431/2006, so as the prevention of environmental impacts deriving from the installation of antennas stations on land to be more effective and efficient. The provisions of the Decree shall apply to works and projects related to the installation of antennas stations on land which are classified in categories and sub-categories, according to Ministerial Decree No. 15393/2332 of 2002, as it is supplemented and in force. These provisions shall also apply regarding the modernization, extension, improvement or modification of existing antennas installations, provided that such works bring considerable impact to the environment, as established with article 4 of Law No. 1650/1985. The Decree sets forth detailed requirements and procedures for Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment and Aproval of the Environmental Terms.
