Agency shall carry out the following tasks: (a) implementation of policy, registration and assessment of natural resources, including forest and hunting management; (b) performance of environmental audit with a view of preventing negative environmental impact. Agency shall carry out regulatory functions in the sphere of ecological, biological, chemical and radiation safety, collection of environmental fees, establishment of hunting and fishing quotas and guarding of protected areas.
