Timber extraction shall include main use felling, intermediate felling and other types of felling carried out in accordance with one-time or general forestry licences. General forestry licences shall be open-ended and valid for all types of felling on the entire national territory. Once-time licences shall be issued for intermediate and other types of felling for a certain period of time, and shall permit limited felling of timber in specified plots of public forest. All technological operations related to timber extraction and logging shall be subject to licence.
