Résumé

This Ministerial Decision establishes measures to be applied in the manufacture of hives and nests of coniferous wood, produced in Portugal. Thus, under Decree No. 31/2012 of 13 March, and Order No. 282/2012 of 17 September, it specifies the requirements to be satisfied for hives, including all their components, and nests of coniferous wood, produced in mainland Portugal and Madeira island, which are intended to be shipped and traded, to other countries of the European Union, Madeira and Azores islands and the nematode buffer zone of pine wood (NMP), as established by Decree-Law No. 95/2011 of 8 August, as follows: a) They should be constructed exclusively from wood treated by the heat (minimum 56° C for 30 minutes, in the center of the wood), in an establishment authorized under Decree-Law No. 95/2011; b) Present a brand of identical model to that provided for in Annex IV of Decree-Law No. 95/2011.
