Chapter 1: Preliminary; Chapter 2: Ways of achieving an acceptable level of risk; Chapter 3: Miscellaneous; and Chapter 4 Transitional provision for Mining and Other Legislation (Safety and Health) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2008. It contains provisions on emergencies (Part 5), on hazardous substances and dangerous goods (Part 7), on mine plans (Part 8), on winding operations (Part 13) and on the working environment (Parts 14). The Regulation is completed by seven Schedules: types of serious accidents and high potential incidents, prohibited substances, places declared to be, or not to be, mines, general exposure limits for hazards, board of examiners’ fees and dictionary.
