The Measures consist of 47 Articles. An entity producing, selling or using radioisotope and ray devices shall apply to obtain a radiation safety permit. The Measures provide for the rules, procedures and requirements for the application, examination, approval, validation, renewal and cancellation of the permits. Importing, transferring radioactive isotope, and carrying out radioactive isotope tracer tests in the field, shall be subject to approval in accordance with provisions of the Measures. In order to export radioactive isotopes, the relevant formalities shall be completed in accordance with the provisions of these Measures. In addition, the Provisions provide for measures to be taken for supervision and inspection, offences and penalties.
