Résumé The present Regulation enacts the Assessment Act. The Regulation lays down provisions relating to the assessment of managed forest land and cut timber. In particular, section 3 establishes that every owner of managed forest land must submit to the assessment authority not later than 31 May in each year a return for the previous calendar year, in a form established by the assessment authority, setting out the volume scaled under the Forest Act, by species and grade, for timber cut from within the area and, if not scaled, an estimate of the volume, by species and grade, that scaling would have determined had it been carried out.
