The veterinary authorities shall take the following measures (i) prohibit the passage of animals except according to the conditions and purposes of such Route; (ii) prohibit cultivation, cutting of trees, or setting fires within the scope of the Route; (iii) restrict the exclusive use of water stations established along Route, except upon permission of the veterinary authorities; (iv) permit the use by animals upon which veterinary procedure against diseases have been taken, and which bear a certificate validated by the veterinary authorities and a specific Government mark; and (v) specify the term of stay of animals in any of the veterinary control stations, or fodder, or water station.
