Résumé The present Regulation is made under the Livestock Identification and Commerce Act (S.A. 2006, c.L-16.2). The Regulation lays down provisions relating to licences for operators of livestock markets and livestock assembling stations. In particular, section 2 establishes that no person shall operate: a) livestock market unless that person holds (i) a livestock market operator’s licence issued under the present Regulations, and (ii) a livestock dealer’s licence issued under the Livestock Identification and Commerce General Regulation (Alta. Reg. 208/2008); b) a livestock assembling station unless that person holds a livestock assembling station operator’s licence issued under this Regulation.
