Résumé This Act concerns the development of the livestock industry in Alberta, it consists of 34 sections and is divided into five parts. The first part is dedicated to the administration of the Act. The second part covers the licensing of game animal production farms, the third is dedicated to the operation of game animal production farms and contains provisions on the identification and registration of animals, on the entry and exit from farms, on diseased animals and on imported animals. The fourth part deals with matters related to game animal production farming and provides for the sale and slaughtering of game production animals. Other provisions regulate entry and inspection, liability and offences and penalties.
