The Register shall be kept by the Chief Agricultural Officer. Animals that have obtained a certificate pursuant to section 5 shall be registered in the Register with distinctive number or mark for each animal. The registration and inspection of the animal in order to obtain certification shall be carried out on request of the owner of the animal. The Chief Agricultural Officer may cancel a certification and eradiate an animal from the register “for sufficient cause”. Registered animals may be inspected by the Chief Agricultural Officer or inspectors designated by the Chief Agricultural Officer under this Act.
