Entry into force notes
The present Regulations enter into force on 1 March 1996.
Résumé

The present Regulations enact the Animal Products Act. Section 3 establishes that no person shall, except under the authority of a licence issued pursuant to the present Regulations, carry on business or operate as: a) a livestock dealer; b) a livestock agent; or c) a livestock dealer’s branch. Section 5 outlines the application procedure for obtaining such a licence. The text consists of 19 sections as follows: Title (1); Interpretation (2); Licences (3); Licensing exemptions (4); Application for licence (5); Conditions of licence (6); Surety bond (7); Forfeiture of security (8); Licences to be displayed or produced (9); Conditions for payment by a livestock dealer (10); Operational procedures required of a licensee (11).
