In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the grading of poultry. Subject to subsection (2), no person shall sell, offer for sale or hold in his possession for the purpose of selling, dressed or eviscerated poultry unless it conforms with the grading requirements of the Livestock and Livestock Products Act (Canada) and the Canada Agricultural Products Act. The text – consisting of 10 sections – deals with the following matters: purchasing, payment, security for payment, licensing, branch licences, advertising, detention and offence.
