Entry into force notes
This regulation comes into force on the same day that Schedule B of The Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation Act and Liquor and Gaming Control Act, S.M. 2013, c. 51, comes into force.
Résumé

The following categories of liquor service licences are hereby established: (a) dining room licence; (b) dining room/lounge licence; (c) beverage room licence; (d) entertainment facility licence; (e) customer/member service licence; (f) unique hospitality venue licence. A beverage room licence may be issued to the operator of a hotel that authorizes the licensee to sell liquor for consumption in premises located in the hotel or in a building adjacent to the hotel. A customer/member service licence may be issued to (a) the operator of an air carrier, railway, excursion ship, intercity bus line or an international airport or a lessee of premises at an international airport; (b) a personal services provider; (c) the operator of a facility or residence for elderly persons or for persons requiring health care or support; (d) the operator of a sports or recreational facility, golf course, curling rink, or a hunting or fishing lodge operating under authority of The Resource Tourism Operators Act; (e) the operator of a hotel which is not the subject of a dining room licence; (f) any of the following: (i) a private incorporated club without share capital with at least 50 local adult members that is not operated for profit, (ii) a private incorporated club with at least 50 local adult members that operates a golf course, curling club or other athletic facility, (iii) a veterans organization with at least 20 local members; or (g) a unit of the Canadian Forces or a law enforcement agency. If a customer/member service licence is issued to the operator of a hunting or fishing lodge, the licensee is also authorized to sell liquor to guests of the lodge for consumption in their rooms or cabins. Cannabis must not be sold in premises that are the subject of a retail cannabis licence (a) from 12:00 midnight until 8:00 a.m.; and (b) from 12:00 midnight until 1:00 p.m. on Remembrance Day.
