It establishes hygiene requirements regarding the processing, transport and storage of said products. Furthermore, it makes restrictions on the placing on the market of certain products listed in article 5. The registration of the fishing vessels, the inspection of the establishments and in general the control of the proper implementation of the Decree is entrusted to the Ministry of Health, the Ministry for the Merchant Marine, the Regions, the veterinary services of the local health units and the competent maritime districts.
