The convention provides for the delimitation of sites, planning and application of measures aiming at the protection and preservation of wetlands with a particular emphasis on the protection of aquatic fauna. The law, consisting of two articles (ratification and entry into force), adopts all its provisions and the Annexes connected thereto.
