These provisions do not apply to natural mineral waters and spring waters destined to be exported to third countries. Specific provisions concern the procedure for applying for and obtaining the recognition of natural mineral waters as such. Further provisions concern microbiological characteristics, transport conditions and labelling. Article 33 sets out penalties.
