Such requisites are evaluated on the basis of the parameters and relevant values stated in Annex 1. Article 3 establishes sampling and testing equipment and methods. The Regions concerned shall identify the waters to be protected or improved within 180 days from the entry into force of the Decree. Furthermore, the Regions shall adopt the relevant plans for the sanitation of such waters and submit to the ministries concerned an yearly report on geographical coordinates, species of molluscs, rearing methods, fishing gears and total catch (art. 4, para. 1).
