Résumé This Law regulates the safety of merchant ships and ports, provides necessary standards intended for the protection of maritime transport and port areas, provides standards designed for docking or anchoring. It also implements the obligations of the State government, companies, port authorities, concessionaires, recognized organizations for the security protection and other natural or legal persons responsible for safety protection measures, in order to ensure the safety of the ship and the port area, the procedure in case of security threats, monitoring duties, implementation of security measures aimed to protect the marine offenses and in order to ensure the security protection for ships and ports, in environmental, ecological and technical matters.
