Résumé The present Law lays down provisions relating to the protection and preservation of nature and cultural heritage. In particular, article 1 establishes that nature and landscape as well as cultural heritage shall be protected and preserved. Impaired nature or landscape shall be – as far as reasonably possible – restored. The text consists of 30 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Position of owners and other beneficiaries (II); Tasks of municipalities and the Canton (III); Special provisions (IV); Sanctions (V); Transitional and final provisions (VI).
