The Liepāja Special Economic Zone has been established with the view to develop and promote trade, industry, shipping and air traffic, and also international exchange of goods via Latvia. Task of the Liepāja Special Economic Zone shall be to attract investments for the development of manufacturing and infrastructure and creation of new workplaces in Liepāja.
