Résumé The present Act regulates the extraction of mineral resources and the use of the subsoil. In particular, in line with the public interest, the Law aims to ensure the sound use of both natural resources and the subsoil. Article 2 establishes that within the meaning of the Law "mineral resources" are ores, precious stones, metals and salts, as well as energy resources, especially natural gas, oil and coal.
