The present Law enters into force on 1 January 2014.
Résumé

The present Act regulates the extraction of mineral resources and the use of the subsoil. In particular, in line with the public interest, the Law aims to ensure the sound use of both natural resources and the subsoil. Article 2 establishes that within the meaning of the Law "mineral resources" are ores, precious stones, metals and salts, as well as energy resources, especially natural gas, oil and coal. The text consists of 29 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Authorization (II); Concession (III); Plants (IV); Expiry of authorization and concession (V); Concession fee (VI); Legal and criminal provisions (VII); Final provisions (VIII).
